Hi! My name is Mrs. Beth Nevill. I am case manager for third grade special education services this year. I am thrilled to be in partnership with you as we work together to meet your child’s individual learning needs and further develop personal strengths.
I would like to introduce myself to you by giving you a little bit of my background. I am certified to teach special education, elementary education, students with severe disabilities, and music. My undergraduate work was done at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania and graduate work was done at University of Delaware and Wilmington University. I am the mother of three grown children, by far my most intensive teaching experience, and grandmother to nine! This is my fourteenth year teaching in the Cape Henlopen School District. I have many years of experience teaching children of varied ages and abilities, but my most fulfilling experiences have been in the education of children with learning differences at the elementary level. I find that all children have a natural curiosity about the world around them, and my primary job as educator is to foster that curiosity and facilitate the learning that will fulfill it. We’ll also all be working as a team to help your child develop positive relationships and thrive socially within our new Love Creek community. I can be reached most easily by email at [email protected], or by calling the school office. I look forward to getting to know you and your child better as the year goes on! |
