MY CONTACT INFO:
Best times to contact me:
2:30 - 3:00
or anytime through email.
Calls received during the teaching day will be fielded by the school secretary, since we will be hard at work in the classroom. Email is the best mode of communication for me because it can be fielded at any time of day. If you should have any concerns that require more than a brief note/call to resolve, feel free to request a conference, and we will schedule a mutually convenient meeting time.
Hi! My name is Mrs. Beth Nevill. I am thrilled to be in partnership with you as we work to educate your child to his/her full potential.
I would like to introduce myself to you by giving you a little bit of my background. I am certified to teach special education, elementary education, students with severe disabilities and music. My undergraduate work was done at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania and graduate work was done at University of Delaware and Wilmington University. I am the mother of three grown children, by far my most intensive teaching experience, and grandmother to six! This is my thirteenth year teaching in the Cape Henlopen School District. I have many years of experience teaching children of varied ages and abilities, but my most fulfilling experiences have been in the education of children with learning differences at the elementary level. I find that all children have a natural curiosity about the world around them, and my job as educator is to foster that curiosity and facilitate the learning that will fulfill it. It’s going to be a great year for all of us as we work together to help your child develop and grow through exploration, practice and application. I look forward to getting to know you better as the year goes on!
